The challenge

What actually goes wrong

Residential security security officer on duty

House security is personal. Residents want to feel safe without living behind a uniform, and landlords and managing agents want problems in car parks and stairwells dealt with before tenants start complaining.

We look at the property first. A family home after a burglary may need a guard overnight for a few weeks. A residential block may need a concierge in the day and patrols at night. A new build development may need someone watching the empty plots until they are sold. Then we put the right cover in, and change it when things settle down.

Burglary and break ins

Homes that have been targeted once, or that hold high value cars and jewellery, are at higher risk of a repeat.

Anti social behaviour

Car parks, bin stores and stairwells in residential blocks attract loitering, damage and drug use.

Unwanted visitors

Tailgating into blocks and strangers on private roads leave residents feeling unsafe.

Empty homes

Properties left empty during holidays, refurbishment or sale are easy targets.

What we deliver

How we cover it, layer by layer

Every element is planned around your site and changes as your needs change.

Home security guards

SIA licensed officers stationed at private homes overnight or around the clock, for as long as the threat lasts.

Residential patrols

Mobile patrol visits to developments, car parks and communal areas, at random times with a report after each.

Concierge and front desk

Officers on the front desk of residential blocks, managing visitors, deliveries and contractors.

Gated development cover

Gatehouse officers controlling vehicles and visitors on private estates and developments.

Keyholding and alarm response

Your keys held by us and an officer sent when your alarm goes off, so you are not woken to go and check.

Empty home checks

Regular visits while a property is empty for holidays, works or sale.

From your first call to officers on site

A clear, managed process, so you know what is happening and who is responsible at every stage.

  1. Talk to a manager

Not a call centre. Someone who knows security asks the questions that decide what your site needs.

  2. Free site survey

We walk the site and look at access, lighting, blind spots and what is worth protecting.

  3. Written plan and price

Hours, officer profile, patrol routes and reporting, set out line by line.

  4. Officers on site

Briefed on your site rules and checked in with our control room through every shift.

Residential security: your questions

Cannot see your question? Call us on 0845 388 0348, any time of day.

Can I hire a security guard for my home?

Yes. We provide home security guards for private houses across Birmingham and the West Midlands, overnight or around the clock, for a few nights or longer.

Do you provide residential security guards for apartment blocks?

Yes. We provide concierge officers for front desks and patrols for car parks and communal areas, working to instructions agreed with the managing agent or residents’ committee.

We have just been burgled. Can you help straight away?

Call 0845 388 0348. We can often put an emergency guard in to protect the property while doors, windows and locks are repaired.

Will a guard at my house be discreet?

Yes. Officers can wear plain dark clothing rather than hi vis, and are briefed on your family’s routines and privacy.

Can you check my house while I am away?

Yes. We can hold your keys, visit while you are away and attend if your alarm goes off.

How much does residential security cost?

It depends on the hours, the number of officers and whether patrols are enough. We price after a site visit.
