The challenge

What actually goes wrong

Perimeter security security officer on duty

Most break ins start at the edge of the site. A loose panel in the Heras fencing, a gap behind the skips, a gate chain that has been cut and put back so it looks closed. If nobody walks the fence line, nobody finds it until something is missing.

We plan perimeter cover around your boundary and the weak points in it. That might be perimeter patrols on foot or by vehicle, CCTV towers watching the long dark stretches, a guard on the gate, or all three. Every check is logged so you know the whole boundary was looked at, not only the front.

Cut and lifted fencing

Temporary fencing is easy to move and palisade can be cut. Gaps get used again and again.

Unwatched boundaries

Long fence lines away from the entrance are where people get in unseen.

Fuel, metal and plant theft

Yards and compounds near the edge of the site are emptied over the fence.

Trespass and travellers

Open land and unsecured access points invite unauthorised encampments, which are slow and costly to resolve.

What we deliver

How we cover it, layer by layer

Every element is planned around your site and changes as your needs change.

Perimeter patrols

Foot or vehicle patrols of the full boundary at random times, checking fences, gates, locks and lighting.

Fence integrity reports

Damage, gaps and weak points photographed and reported so they get fixed quickly.

Gate and access point checks

Every gate and secondary access checked, locked and logged on each patrol.

CCTV towers on the boundary

Temporary CCTV covering long fence lines, monitored remotely with audio challenge.

Static perimeter officers

Officers posted at high risk points or on the gate where the risk justifies it.

Response to breaches

An officer sent when a camera or alarm detects someone at the fence, with escalation to the police.

Standards

Paperwork that passes procurement

Accreditations, vetting and reporting that stand up to supplier audits and insurers.

  • SIA Approved Contractor Scheme for security guarding and door supervision
  • Every officer SIA licensed for the role and vetted to BS 7858
  • Patrol routes covering the full boundary agreed in writing
  • Every check logged with time, location and photos
  • Control room check calls through every shift
  • ICO registered (Z3409111) for CCTV and personal data

People and cameras

Patrols, guards and temporary CCTV from one provider, planned as one perimeter.

Problems reported, not just seen

Fence damage is photographed and reported so your team can fix it the same day.

Flexible cover

More patrols over holidays and shutdowns, fewer when the site is busy and staffed.

From your first call to officers on site

A clear, managed process, so you know what is happening and who is responsible at every stage.

  1. Talk to a manager

Not a call centre. Someone who knows security asks the questions that decide what your site needs.

  2. Free site survey

We walk the site and look at access, lighting, blind spots and what is worth protecting.

  3. Written plan and price

Hours, officer profile, patrol routes and reporting, set out line by line.

  4. Officers on site

Briefed on your site rules and checked in with our control room through every shift.

Perimeter security: your questions

Cannot see your question? Call us on 0845 388 0348, any time of day.

What is perimeter security?

Perimeter security protects the boundary of your site: fences, gates, walls and access points. It combines patrols, physical checks, CCTV and guarding so people cannot get in unseen.

How often do perimeter patrols take place?

Frequency is agreed with you based on the risk. Visits are randomised inside agreed windows so the pattern cannot be predicted.

Can you cover a large open site?

Yes. For large sites we usually combine vehicle patrols with CCTV towers on the long stretches of boundary and a guard on the main gate.

What happens when you find a damaged fence?

The officer photographs and reports it, makes it as secure as possible and, if the risk is high, our control room can arrange extra patrols or a guard until it is repaired.

Do you secure sites against unauthorised encampments?

We help reduce the risk with patrols, gate checks and CCTV, and report any arrivals straight away so you can act quickly.
